Purchase of Janitorial Supplies
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) is soliciting bids for the purchase of Janitorial Supplies.

It is the policy of RT that Small Business Enterprises (“SBEs”) (defined as a business that has been certified as a small business by the California Department of General Services or any other public agency that certifies small businesses under applicable laws), will have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract. To further that policy, RT will provide a 5% price preference to Proposers meeting the 25% SBE participation goal set for this Contract.
RT hereby notifies all bidders it will affirmatively ensure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this solicitation, contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit a bid in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, disability or age in consideration for an award.
Sealed bids must be received by the Procurement Services Department at either of the above addresses by 2:00 p.m. Pacific Local Time, Thursday, July 9, 2009 and will be publicly opened on the same date at 2:00 p.m. at the same address.
