NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) is soliciting proposals from consultants with qualifications, experience & knowledge to provide services for the Preparation and Negotiation of a Full Funding Grant Agreement for the South Sacramento Corridor Phase 2 Project. Proposer must have a duly licensed attorney among key personnel who will work on this contract.

This contract is subject to a financial assistance contract between RT and the US Dept. of Transportation. All proposers will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors. Consultant will be required to comply with all EEO laws & regulations.
It is the policy of the US Dept. of Transportation that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), as defined in 49 CFR Part 26, are to be encouraged to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with federal funds. As a condition of federal grant assistance, RT has adopted a DBE program for RT's federally funded contracts. No DBE goal has been established for this project. However, proposers must ensure that DBEs have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract and must take all necessary and reasonable steps to obtain DBE participation. The Consultant must not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age in the award and performance of subcontracts.
RT hereby notifies all Proposers it will affirmatively ensure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this solicitation, proposers will be afforded full opportunity to submit a proposal in response to this invitation & will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, disability or age in consideration for an award.
Sealed proposals must be received by the Procurement Services Office at 1400 29th St, Sacto, CA 95816 by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2009, Pacific Standard Time.
