This contract is subject to a financial assistance contract between SacRT and the US Dept. of Transportation. All bidders will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors. Contractors must comply with all EEO laws and regulations.
This is a preventive maintenance Contract financed in part with federal funds. Contractor will be required to comply with all EEO laws and regulations. This Contract is subject to the Buy America provisions set forth in 49 U.S.C. section 5323 and 49 C.F.R. Part 661 and Contractor must comply with its terms.
The work that is the subject of this bid is a public work within the meaning of Chapter 1 (beginning with Section 1720) of Part 7 of Division 2 of the California Labor Code to which Section 1771 (Payment of Prevailing Wages) applies. The higher of state or federal general prevailing wages applies. Contractor license classification at the time of contract award must be Class D-28.
It is the policy of the U.S. Department of Transportation that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), as defined in 49 C.F.R. Part 26, are encouraged to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with federal funds. As a condition of federal grant assistance, SacRT has adopted a DBE program for SacRT's federally-funded contracts. No DBE goal has been established for this Contract. However, Bidders must ensure that DBEs have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract and must take all necessary and reasonable steps to obtain DBE participation. Contractor may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age in the award and performance of subcontracts.

Sealed bids must be received by the Procurement Services at 1400 29th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816 by 2:00 p.m. Pacific Local Time, Monday, July 9, 2018. Bids will be publicly opened on the same date at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the Procurement Services Conference Room at 2816A N. Street.
