Notice:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is soliciting bids for elevator maintenance and repair services, which consists of monthly preventive maintenance services, trouble callbacks, and minor and major repair services for up to seven7 hydroelectric elevators and 1 one dumbwaiter elevator; quarterly preventive maintenance services, trouble callbacks, and minor and major repair services for one1 wheelchair lift at light rail station; and scheduled major elevator repairs by Work Order.

This contract is subject to a financial assistance contract between SacRT and the US Dept. of Transportation. All bidders will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible consultants. Consultant must comply with all EEO laws and regulations.

It is the policy of the U.S. Department of Transportation that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), as defined in 49 C.F.R. Part 26, are encouraged to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with federal funds. As a condition of federal grant assistance, SacRT has adopted a DBE program for SacRT's federally-funded contracts. No DBE goal has been established for this Contract. However, Bidders must ensure that DBEs have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract and must take all necessary and reasonable steps to obtain DBE participation. Contractor may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age in the award and performance of subcontracts.

SacRT hereby notifies all bidders it will affirmatively ensure that, in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this solicitation, all bidders will be afforded full opportunity to submit a bid in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, creed, sex, disability, age, or national origin in consideration for an award.

Sealed bids must be received by the Procurement Services Office at 2816 N St, Sacramento, CA 95816 by 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2018, Pacific Local Time.
