The project will extend light rail service approximately 13 miles from the 7th & Richards/Township 9 Station to the Sacramento International Airport, and is strategically situated in close proximity to several planned high-density, mixed-use neighborhoods as well as regional employment and entertainment destinations in downtown Sacramento and the Natomas communities.
The community open house meetings will include maps of the proposed line and additional information about the Green Line to the Airport light rail extension project. RT staff and members of the project team will be available to answer questions and discuss ideas. A brief presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.
