SacRT Recognizes Top Community Ambassadors

The Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) has launched a Top Community Ambassador program in recognition of outstanding advocacy for transit improvement and support for RT.
These ambassadors ride the RT system not just for their transportation needs, but to seek out improvement opportunities systemwide and share their experiences. They provide timely and invaluable information and suggestions related to RT’s operational, marketing and customer services on a daily basis.
These dedicated individuals have gone above and beyond to improve transit services in the Sacramento region. Their feedback has been an integral part of RT’s key initiatives to make RT more customer-friendly, more clean and more safe.
As a thank you for their hard work and dedication, the Top Community Ambassador recipients receive certificates to demonstrate RT’s desire to put customers first in everything that RT does.
RT recognized Jeffery Tardaguila and Mike Barnbaum as the first award recipients during the July 25, 2016, RT Board of Directors meeting.
The next Top Community Ambassador award recipients, Russell Rawlings and Barbara Stanton, will be recognized during the August 22, 2016, RT Board of Directors meeting held at 5:30 p.m. in the RT Auditorium at 1400 29th Street.
