Major Service Disruptions
- Effective Thursday, November 26, 2015, Bus Service on Routes 30, 67, 68, 82 and 87 will be Disrupted from 6 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Due to Road Closures for the 22nd Annual Run to Feed the Hungry Race
During the closure, Route 30 (inbound) will detour via College Town Drive; right on Hornet Drive, right on Folsom Boulevard, left into the University/65th Station, left on Folsom Boulevard (which becomes Capitol Avenue), right on 30th Street and left on L Street. Route 30 (outbound) will detour via J Street; right on 29th Street, left on Capitol Avenue (which becomes Folsom Boulevard), right into the University/65th Street Station), right on Folsom Boulevard, left on State University Drive and right on College Town Drive.
Routes 67 and 68 (northbound) will detour via 30th Street; left on J Street (on to freeway). Routes 67 and 68 (southbound) will detour via J Street Exit; 29th Street.
Routes 82 and 87 (northbound) will detour via the University/65th Street Station; right on Folsom Boulevard, left on State University Drive, right on College Town Drive and Left on Howe Avenue. Routes 82 and 87 (southbound) will detour via Howe Avenue; right on College Town Drive, left on State University Drive, right on Folsom Boulevard and left into the University/65th Street Station.
- Light Rail Service Disruption on the Blue Line from Saturday, December 5, 2015 to Sunday, December 6, 2015
Effective Saturday, December 5 through through Sunday, December 6, light rail service between the Broadway and Florin light rail stations will be temporarily disrupted. Special RT buses will transport passengers between stations during the closure.
The City of Sacramento is constructing a pedestrian/bicycle bridge across the City College light rail station platform. For more information about this project, visit cityofsacramento.org/public-works.
- Attention Route 2, 3, 6, 7, 11, 15, 29, 34, 51 and 109 riders, the bus stops located at 7th Street at H Street, and 7th Street between I and J streets will reopen on Sunday, October 11, 2015.
Effective Sunday, October 11, 2015, the bus stops located on 7th Street at H Street, and 7th Street between I and J streets will reopen to serve Routes 2, 3, 6, 7, 11, 15, 29, 34, 51 and 109. Service to the temporary bus stop located on H Street between 7th and 8th streets will be discontinued. The bus stop located on 7th Street at K Street had been permanently closed.
Passengers will need to board and exit at the 7th Street bus stops instead of the bus stops located on H Street between 7th and 8th streets, 9th and I streets, 9th and K streets, 9th and L streets, and Capitol Mall between 7th and 8th streets, which will no longer be served by Routes 2, 3, 6, 7, 15, 29, 34, 51 and 109.
- A Portion of Roseville Road Over Arcade Creek will be Closed from May 2015 through December 2015 Due to the City of Sacramento's Bridge Replacement Project
Roseville Road, including approximately one half mile north of the intersection of Connie Way, will be closed to all thru traffic. RT's park-and-ride lots will be open, but the bridge construction may cause traffic issues getting to the entrances. - Payphones at RT light rail stations will be removed, due to lack of use and cost of operation and maintenance.
