• Independence Day Detours
  On Saturday, July 4, several special events are scheduled to take place throughout the region. The following RT bus detours are necessary because of road closures:
  
  Route 21: Coloma between McGregor and Folsom will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon. Route 21 will take the following detour: To Sunrise Mall: Folsom Boulevard; left on Zinfandel; left on McGregor; and right on Coloma. To Mather Field/Mills Station: Coloma; left on McGregor; right on Zinfandel; and right on Folsom.
  
  Route 23: Fair Oaks Boulevard between Kenneth and Cypress will be closed from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Route 23 inbound will be detoured via: Fair Oaks Boulevard; left on California; right on Van Alstine, which becomes El Camino; and outbound: El Camino, which becomes Van Alstine, left on California, right on Fair Oaks.
  
  Routes 23 and 26: Fulton between Marconi and Cottage will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Route 23 inbound will detour via: El Camino; right on Watt; left on Marconi; left on Bell and right on El Camino. Route 23 outbound will detour via: Bell; right on El Camino; left on Bell; right on Marconi; right on Watt and left on El Camino. Route 26 to University\65th Street will detour via: Fulton, right on Marconi; left on Howe; left on Alta Arden; and right on Fulton. Route 26 to Watt/I-80 will detour via: Fulton; left on Alta Arden; right on Howe; right on Marconi; and left on Fulton.
  
  Route 34: Meister between 43rd and Aiken will be closed at 2 p.m., and C between Largomarsino and Elvas will be closed at 10 a.m. (for block parties). When Meister and/or C are closed, Route 34 outbound will detour via: Meister; left on 43rd; right on Elvas; right on 45th; left on Brand which becomes 52nd; and right on Elvas. No route detours inbound.
  
  Route 56: Rush River/Windbridge will be closed from 10:20 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Route 56 to Rush River/Windbridge will detour via: Rush River; right on Desertwind (the second street on the right); left on Sunwind (the first street on the left); right on Highwind; left on Deltawind; and left on Rush River -- layover on Rush River
